Yeah, and pulling the speedbrakes would have prevented the AA accident in Little Rock, but such simple-minded conclusions do nothing to improve safety. On the contrary: real lessons can only be learned by identifying
all holes in the cheese, as well as their interrelationships. That includes, but is certainly not limited to, crew performance.
