I do like
flyhighspeed300 and
Nashers; I use the "remarks" column to record details of the flight that don't "fit" into any of the previous columns. For instance, whether it was a NAV flight and if so, the DEP and ARR airfields in plain language, the
"via" waypoints if these were navaids or other airfields for instance, T/GOes if any (to expand on data recorded in the "take-off" and "landing" columns), etc. Likewise, if I do any specific exercise (ILS approach, flapless landing, etc.) I will record it there. Once you're licensed, I don't think there is any legal requirement as to what you can ad in the remarks column.
When I fly professionaly, that's where I mention the flight number and any specifics; i.e. line check, CAT II approach, visual approach, go-around, etc.
