Flew into Gloucester from Biggin in the club PA28 on Friday. As always, they're very welcoming and GA friendly. The staff (nice girls and ladies
) at the check-in are great and will offer all assistance possible. Yes it's £21 to land unfortunately. The airfield pub is very close, hospitable with views over the field. The airfield itself is set in beautiful countryside welcome after the flatlands around Brize (who themselves will give you a zone transit and help out). Go there, enjoy the scenery, then plan your next trip further into Wales or perhaps to Shobdon.
