EGBJ is situated in between two popular shopping towns, Gloucester itself and Cheltenham. Good if your passengers want to go shopping
. The latter is usually regarded as being a bit more 'up market'. Both towns are a reasonably short taxi ride away.
The airport itself is quite busy and has a fair amount of business type commercial traffic. They are however GA friendly and fuel is reasonably priced. There is a Transair shop at the airport. (Other pilot supply shops are available - but not at EGBJ!)
If you go, check you have an up to date airport diagram for taxiing!
