Well - bus / taxi (2-3 miles) into Cheltenham for a large selection of shops and eating places. Same for Gloucester (they have the Cathedral and Historic docks as well - more shops and eating places).

Gloucester Cathedral, an Attraction in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Search for Gloucestershire Attractions.

Many will grab a good feed at the on site cafe/bar and just watch the flying - nice to site outside if the weather is fine and admire the view over to the west and Malvern Hills....as well as the fixed wing/heli/biz jet and commercial traffic.

Great place.
