Sustain what in the future? Pilots on the pay-roll?
If AA can't afford to keep pilots around, they will furlough them in due time and/or
ask for concessions.
No Santa Claus in top managment: They did not cancel the December furlough to get a warm and fuzzy feeling on behalf of the pilots and their families. The bean counters
decided it was cheaper to keep 'em on the payroll. End of story.
