Owen, it seems we have the same taste in beer
Probably one of the nicest wheat beers around. If you're in Brissie, try the German Club on Vulture Street right next to the Gabba, they have Erdinger (and a few other good German varieties) on tap, that's as close as you'll get to the 'real' taste you'd get in Munich.. good European food too at very good prices!
Another good European thirst-quencher in Brisbane is the Belgian Beer Cafe in the city, pricy, but they have a superb Leffe (try the dark one) on tap.. yum!
Bottled imported European beers seems to suffer in transit, I've tried a fair few of them and they all don't quite do it for me.
