Heard that the new graduates from PAL Av school last year won't be taken in the line till 2011 or 2012, with freeze hiring for PAL Express.
Also, have they been retrenching intentionally S/Os already in the line by telling them they actually failed the 6 monthly PAQB ? I've noticed that there seems to be a lot of unemployed S/Os from PAL floating around in the Gen Av since 2007 and especially now. I feel sorry for the guys and girls who have now started paying off their loans with no possible relief with employment. Hopefully most of them have financial support from their parents.
What's going on ?? I guess this is the effect of the Cat 2 downgrade of the Philippines.
There were a few applicants as flight and ground instructors in the schools I've noticed too.
