OK. I tried a few different ways and reckon the easiest is to control the ball with your left hand on the keyboard (its too sensitive to use my feet) and program a joystick for up and down buttons and axes outputting w a s d for directing the green box, then use a pedal to output space for the remaining game.
Keep the ball as your primary instrument and it should all happen nicely. I just scored 278 before getting distracted by the radio. I guess for added multitasking I should have been
talking on the radio
