Have just completed in excess of 30 flights in last 6 weeks on both legacy carriers and LCC, covering all classes- first and business class transatlantic, business and economy wthin Europe, including 4 sectors with LCC, 2 of these were Ryanair. The check in experience at Stansted for our early morning departure was absolutely horrendous, we checked in online and the bag drop clearly did not work, there was absolute chaos with no direction given. The shame is that after this the Ryanair experience was fine, boarding was orderly, the prority boarding was controlled and the cabin crew on both sectors were both polite and professional, once on board they were on par with many other airlines i have travelled with, including some legacy carriers. This was my first experience of Ryanair and so long as the check in/bag drop problems get sorted i would use them again next time i am in Europe.
