I don't much at all about the CPP but concerning eyesight, I like you have to wear glasses (only when say I am sitting at the back of a lecture theatre to view the board) and have 20/20 vision when I wear them..I reckon that so long as one has perfect vision with corrective lens then there is no reason as to why you couldn't become a pilot. I applied just the other day and I think you should just apply as well and not worry about such things untill need be

I don't have any flying experience and have a degree in science and I don't think there is any "set" of subjects one should take at uni. Sure a bit of maths/physics is ideal but nothing that requires applicants to have anything more than high school knowledge.
To make a long story short: just apply and see what happens, don't worry about eyesight/academicy (is that even a word??) stuff..there is no harm in trying
