Bloody hell - how many times do we have to go through this Ryanair nonsense. I fly with them 4 times a month, have been for the past 5 years. Never had an issue apart from diversions (krk), which I trust the people up front have done based on prudent safety reasons.
I don't expect anything other than a safe arrival.

Seriously, If you like to bring golfclubs, cello or your piano, don't fly with Ryanair.
If you need to check in bags - don't fly with Ryanair.
If you expect free wine and prawn sandwiches on boarding - don't fly with Ryanair.
If you don't like stag parties or hens, dont fly with Ryanair.
If you have kids don't fly with Ryanair.
If you don't like the colour combo of blue and yellow, don't fly with Rynair.

If you have hand luggage, can check in online and a decent set of iPod speakers and want to get somewhere for cheap - fly with Ryanair.

.... manage your expectation for gods sake and stop all the whining
