In my humble opinion, budget airlines are a complete waste of time.
Looking for a flight to Italy the other week to take a suitcase and golf clubs. By the time all of the "additional" charges were added up by a number of budget airlines BA were actually cheaper. I also don't end up 50 miles from where I want to be.
