Well we arrived at the landing ground at 1400 and French pilot Edmond Salis had arrived in the morning.
The Tiger Clug Turbulents flew but curtailed their show due strong winds and turbulence.
The Air Race appeared to be late (at least 30 mins) so the Stearman got airborne and started his routine. The Air Racers arrived mob handed in the middle of it and he had to dissapear...mm. Commentator was accidentally heard saying this is getting silly.
Other Bleriots due at 1800 cancelled due Wx.
Less than 5 mins before Red Arrows and Patriole de France (Sp) were due a lone microlite was seen circling Dover Castle at about 1000 ft...Oh dear...
Didnt see any other microlights at all.
All told a sad dissapointment.
