Security gap in EDDF?
Well, passengers are individually id-checked by security when entering their gate, after being x-rayed/searched before entering the terminal, plus federal border-police check, plus aditional carry-on and checked-baggage screening plus all the usual airline checks. (And that is just the public side of it)
Many delays in FRA caused by offloaded bags of pax finally not aboard. Feel safe there.
Still good decision to land ASAP.
