I don't see why they would want to protest. There's now only about 80 commercial turn-arounds on Saturdays, when it used to be at least double that before adding the private stuff.
Do they think logically like that?
Re the ground handling:
Servisair: Flybe, Sata, Aer Lingus, Lufthansa and most other stuff
Airline Services CI Ltd (aviance ramp): BA, bmibaby, Air Southwest, VLM(until 31st July then to Servisair), Manx 2, and the odd charter.
Blueislands: Self (with aviance ramp for Dornier and I assume ATR ops)
Aurigny: Self
