CAA ATPL(H) + Tran Can ATPL(H) inc. IR = JAA ATPL(H)?

I have read back through various threads and also sent two unanswered emails to FCL at the Belgrano (no reply of course!).

Holding a CAA ATPL(H) with EC135 endorsement and a Transport Canada ATPL(H) with IR and S61 (so multi crew qualified) what is the best way to get a JAA ATPL(H). As we all do, we need options and I just want the licence in the back pocket so type specific is not an issue.

Can I, for example fly an IR in the EC135, and would that qualify me for the JAA ATPL(H); if so would it be restricted to single pilot (or is single pilot also good for multi crew). And the big question... do I need to do an approved course or just do the training I need to pass the test.

Just hoping someone has tried this because I know snail mail to the Belgrano is probably the only way to an answer...
