Yes, you're absolutely correct. In fact, it was KA that introduced the Pre-Qualified Cadets Programme. Their requirement was CPL + CIR-ME + Total 250 hours. Unfortunately such an ab-initio DE S/O deal no longer exists in KA. Whatsmore, even the intake for normal CPP has stopped, which is reasonable as KA is a bit over-manpowered at present according to my KA pilot friend...Anyway, I think such deal will prove attractive towards the vast majority of keen aviators with limited flying experience. Needless to say, we're all aware of the benefits it can bring to both the airline and the pilots. Let's hope more carriers adopt this programme.

Well, I'm not sure if it is only available to HKG locals...however, with the recent switch in the normal CPP, I kinda get the drift that CX is leaned towards foreign pilots (as always)...
