Pesumably we are talking about the CD protection thread that has disappeared.
The topic itself was originally discussing how to play copyright CDs or DVDs on a home PC as opposed to a conventional CD/DVD player. This is
NOT piracy!
Nor is it unlawfull to backup software, music or DVDs if you are the existing owner of the said item...
I am assuming there was no offensive posting after my last entry as the thread was deleted soon after.
Buttons, I fail to recall any indication or suggestion of illegal activity, in fact your intimation of piracy did not even lead me to think of that particular thread until I noticed it missing.
Whilst I am willing to respect and accommodate any moderators wishes, I do ask you to revise your decision to remove the thread as current methods of software protection etc do have a direct negative effect on law abiding PC users and pirates alike.
