okeydokey has a point - the thread was originally concerned simply with how to
play copy-protected audio CDs on a computer instead of a hi-fi unit.
Unfortunately, someone (errr....me) posted a link providing information on how to copy software CDs that incorporate copy protection schemes such as

Now, I am only interested in being able to do this to back up legitimately purchased software - but others might abuse the information provided
So couldn't I just delete my post and then the thread could be restored since it wouldn't then deal with anything illegal??
