I can't believe this question keeps coming up.

You must be able to see that it's not a genuine deal. Once they have your money, it's game over.

Ask yourselves, with all the unemployed pilots out there, why can they not hire first officers from the experienced market? Answer: They don't want to - beacuse they would have to pay them.

*YOU* give them money to do a type rating - you then may or may not receive line training (see above).

Whatever experience you buy yourselves by paying your own salary, once you have the agreed time - they replace you with somebody else who wants to pay them for flying.

Why on Earth WOULD the company offer to pay *you* to work for them? WHY?

What about all the other guys who paid for time before you? Do they have jobs with the company? If so, why do they need to offer anybody else the "chance of a job after training" ?
