Recently I went through the security screening point at Perth airport. out of the corner of my eye I saw this guy take out his cut throat razor, remove the blade from it and hide it in another compartment in his bag.
We get closer to security, his bag goes through the x-ray machine, I see the x-ray image myself (im not qualified, but it was obvious) and it didnt get challeneged. So i quietly speak up to the supervisor...
The F&%KING poor excuse for a security guard stopped the guy, searched his bag and removed the HANDLE to the razor, not the blade. then happily sent the passenger on his way.
Would have been interesting if managed to find a Federal Police Officer and told him the news...TERMINAL LOCK DOWN....
Maybe if they paid the guards more than $16/hr they might be able to scrape "just above" the bottom of the barrel and find someone with 1/2 a brain!
