sadly its not jst airports, everywhere in oz is like that when it comes to police and security, unless you kill someone, the police just dont give a ****..
i had an ex steal $5000 from me, she forged bank documents, and withdrew the cash over the counter, i have footage of it, the bank admitted she usd false paperwork(forged signature), the police know, and all i have been told from the bank and police is.... too bad..go away.
same if your ca get stolen from the airport carpark, again, police just dont care.. response was, "ring your insurance company"
as for security guards, they are the biggest bunch of thieves i have ever seen.
Hangar 2, 40 yrs without being touched, one week under security protection, every electrical item in the lunch rooms went missing... of course, security didnt see a thing...
oh, get the security footage on to youtube and post it as many places as you can with you story... internet justice can work wonders.
