Nope. Was talking to a CTC Cadet a couple of weeks ago.....at the moment the hold pool, which aparantly has upto 90-100 ex-cadets in it, is not getting cleared so I can't really see an advantage to it. If I was in the hold pool indefinitely then at least you're on a list somewhere for a job....however I found out the other day that you're only allowed to remain in the hold poole for 12 months after completion of training
. I personally wouldn't like to bet that I would be top of that queue within the next 2 years. Then again it's probably no more risky than any other way of training at the moment. Swings and Roundabouts.
