Lets take HSBC Tower in London for example - world's biggest company according to Forbes so will have big offices at both destinations.
It is true to say that the LHR outbound flight is actually quicker than the LCY inc. transit (all three airports are contraint on slots so probably shorter than timetabled). Yet as Carnage said, it has a superior service, more of a personal service plus the extremely quick time on the ground at LCY and JFK. It really is a better product.
Plus...the return flight kicks the arse of an LHR flight
Most people are saying 'never go to LHR it's cr*p, yet now they want them to go there!
