No not at all. Statistically FAA and European ATP licence holders are the same.
Those who know that then use the pathetic excuse that someone holding an inferior licence from a third world country can fly in Europe.
Fact is its just an excuse to keep out FAA licenced pilots and other registrations from operating in Europe for self protectionism.
My comments were a cynical joke against those who want all foreign reg aircraft removed so that European pilots can get all their jobs
The reason is as simple as that.
