The management are either really clever or really stupid.

They have got crews to reduce their overall package including travel, etc, without a murmur from crews. They are on course to make huge savings at crew's costs, probably achieving certain targets that trigger bonuses for them.

On the other hand there is a huge overcrewing problem and an Ab initio scheme that is in direct contrast to owner's wishes for experienced crews. The customer service scheme is run by ex RAF who do not have a clue about customer service (why not use professionals if it is that important). Coffee is served in plastic cups with powdered milk and Oreo cookies, whilst the whisky is the cheapest brand on the market, some customer service! At least crews know how to apologise for the service.

The redundancy package is great but very few will have the time to take it, because it will take more than 6 weeks to get a new job. The jobshare will give management the chance to pick and choose who gets full salary. Most will have to take jobshare,as 60% of something is better than 100% of nothing. It will be tough for all especially since the upgrades are now 4 years away.

However, happiness would be restored for a period if Beardy was hung out to dry!
