Tell you what, if you can persuade them in the White House that there ARE things that are long overdue for change, and they took sensible action to address these concerns, I reckon this whole silly mess could be taken care of.
The problem is, you have (albeit very momentarily ) seen (a little of) the light, will they ?
In an ideal world (for everyone, ultimately, even if both sides would be loathe to acknowledge it ) a sensible middle ground would (as in most relationships
) go a long way in finding a means of relatively harmonious co-existence.
