Ryanair Cabin baggae
I haven't flown RYR for over a year, mainly due to silly add-ons jacking up the price. However, the current 'sale' has got me flying to Hahn for £7 and coming back with hold baggage for £17. I read and understand the cabin baggage dimensions/weight but I had heard that there was a cash penalty for turning up at the aircraft, as opposed to security, with a second item of hand luggage in the form of a duty free bag with 2 x 1 litre bottles of gin etc. What would be mechanism to get you to pay at the boarding gate, assuming this charge actually exists? Please will anyone update me on this aspect of life?
