How far to fall in a spin??

Hi,

PA28 Cherokee 140s are cleared for spinning. They spin better than 152s which can be awkward sometimes (although the PA28-140 has its days of reluctancy too).

Yes I have spun both types.

PA28-161 Warrior - Yes they will spin...and no they are not cleared to. In fact almost every a/c on the planet will spin - even those that claim they cant be...I have had 2 flights in the last 3 months where the 'student' (sometimes a PPL holder.!) has mishandled rudder in a clean stall and in both cases the a/c flicked. On that basis I assume that the next 3 turns will occur in the normal manner - however, given the warrior is not cleared for spinning i wasn't very keen on finding out...'i have control' is never a problem after a flick - students eyes are already showing alarm from hanging vertical for the first time in their flying lives!!!!!!
