You do not have to be a home owner to get a loan
Your best bet would be a career development loan of up to £8000 which would cover everything from your P.P.L. to your A.T.P.L. course (based on distance learning prices) Barclays gave me mine and it is interest free until Jan 2004. You can then possibly look towards the big H.S.B.C. loan (again unsecured) to cover the rest of your training, however the best way to cut down loan costs is to get a job and earn some money to pay for part of your training. Maybe do what I did which was to take a year out and find work somewhere?
