Staff have been saying exactly what that article says since its introduction, so has PPRUNE.
I say Bull$%*&T that it wasn't to save money. Not even a been counter would be silly enough to think customers would eat the crap that QF has been serving up and be satisfied with it.
Unbelievable.
While we are on the subject of service, Virgin's advertising makes a big point about them providing a great service, infact the best service. Can some body actually explain what that service is?? No food! no pillows or blankets! No magazines! Tea or coffee? Seats with little leg room ! Have to say its sounds like a five star flight to me!
