1. Top 500 guys at NetJets are a mixed group. Ex military and ex airlines, in the age of 35 to 55. So my guess is that maybe a 100 or 150 or so will choose for 1 on and 1 off year..(rest of the options not viable)

2. So not enough takers over the whole company, so reductions will be made. Plus the fact these crises last 3 years, it will be a long long time (2011 or 2012) before NetJets will take on new pilots. Given the fact the market will be saturated with experienced collegues it moght be difficult to get in.

So, if one could stretch the education upto 2011 one might take the chance and see what happens then. But any earlier than 2011 and no experience you will have a hard time.

Maybe an in between job and try NetJets to commit to take you on the scheme again (without any testing) within the next say 8 years might be the best deal.....
