BTW, the 787 does not have a TAC for what it's worth and consequently Boeing is teaching most if not all EO procedures with the TAC on in the B777 with an eye towards a common type rating in the US.
I wonder where that information came from? If it's true (unlikely) then you'd be training TAC
off, anyway. I thought the 787 was going to have an improved version of TAC, compared with the 777? After all, the 787 is FBW and Boeing are unlikely to remove a safety feature that allows Airbus to say they have it and Boeing don't...
