look at it this way DLesmond...
-You need a Class 1 for a CPL anyway
-You need an ARN to hold a licence
-You get the satisfaction of being treated as if you were a piece of your boss' faecal matter for the next decade like everyone else, even the last couple of bunches of QF Cadets. Whilst working for less money than everybody you finished school with. (Sarcastic Tone)
-You can get the same ratings and endorsements for one hell of a lot less and with better instruction whilst living at home (therefore saving even more money)
-You can offset some of the CPL costs by training part time and working part time should you choose.
-If you take a loan, the interest rates are the lowest in living history.
