Question

If Sydney intl was voted the third best in the world maybe the requirements for this esteemed position are:
1: No visual approaches to foreign carriers
2: 5 min separation for traffic ariving
3: A rediculous curfew at a city's airport that hosted the olympic games
4: No reverse thrust north of twy K, if i remember rightly after hrs
5: reducing the airspace to an MBZ a few years ago when 2 of the controllers called in sick for the latenight shift
6: a one way strip for landing after hrs when the predominant breeze of 15kts+ is a southerly
7: some of the most sh#ttiest parking guidance markers for international 2 deck acft in the world
8:and now a real doozy you now have to declare EVERYTHING upon entry to customs including your personal watch, your RM Williams boots coz they cost too much for normal shoes, your laptop even if it runs on commodore 64 memory, your camera digital or otherwise, your palm pilot if you are unlucky enough to have one, oh and probably your mont blanc biro coz it is a stupid price too.
All these things in customs eyes could be hocked off to unwilling aussies by yourself the untrusted airline pilot that didnt take a bomb on board and fly straight into the AMP tower in the cbd.
One last point, the woman in question who believed all of these items to be contraban was also struggling with english as she was from somesouth east asian/indian country. I thought Johnnie howard wanst going to let these people into our beautiful country unless they could command the english language well enough to say good morning how was your flight or welcome home, but then who's home is it these days anyway.
