I know this is somewhat off subject but it has to do with the ATR at least.

Considering an aircraft arriving at an outstation such as Laoag, with the FOS stating that the maximum allowable takeoff weight is 22,500 kg (FCOM 2.01.02 Max takeoff weight is 22, 800 kgs) why is it that our weight limitation less than 22.5 or 22.8 kg at an out station compared to Manila which is 22.5?

My assumption was based on MZFW. Which I derived from (MTOW- Fuel Remining). For example the fuel raming at Laoag from Manila is 1,600 kgs. So the weight for take off is limited to structural limitation. So the weight limit is 22.5 - 1.6 = Takeoff weight of 20, 900 kg. Would my assumption be correct.

Also, why is our max takeoff weight 22.5 and not 22.8 from the FCOM?

Many thanks from Jolibee. The guy who feeds all you ATR boys under that hot Manial sun
