The vans all have 2 Garman 430's and full autopilot which we fly single pilot.
Struth, you blokes are getting it easy!
All we had were beat-up Bongos, no navaids and certainly no autopilot!!
Neither of which would have been of much use in the twice weekly 'dawn patrol scramble' out to Kagi, Efogi, Bodinumu, Manari, Naoro etc etc!!
I never considered it hard work either. It was good fun!!

, but still good fun.
And agree with observation about Meris and SP. Not to be mixed, even in my days there.
