Personally I think this will be a good move for all concerned. Certainly no danger of job losses given the rate of growth of both airlines.
As far as easyJet is concerned, it ain't bad. Commercially very well run. Operationally can be a bit dysfunctional at times. The cracks show a bit every now and then, but getting better.
-700 and -300 operated side by side. Not as separate fleets. (Crews trained initially on -300 and then transition later to -700, but that approach is now changing as more -700's delivered. Will soon be dual-rating pilots on initial training I believe.)
Looking forward to a few new destinations. Hope you're feeling Orange!!
