Grow up
385s,
Just FYI the A380 is in it's infancy. The planes I fly are heavy, and yes they burn a lot of fuel, and there's a reason for it. The undercarriage and wing is built for a 700 ton airframe. At the moment our MTOW is 569t. This and the fact that early production airplanes are merely refined test aircraft is the reason why the burn is up.

And on a final note: Singapores A380 entry into service was the most trouble free they've ever had.
