Cyber exam cost
Greetings all.
The ACCC cannot act on CASA cyber exam fees. The reason being that CASA can set whatever fees they deem appropriate, and the ACCC cannot do anything about it, as CASA have not breached the trade practices act.
There are 2 options for anyone wishing to complain about government charges.
1. The Commonwealth Ombudsman - he is responsible for investigating charges, not the ACCC.
2. Your local Labor party MP. He can raise this topic at question time in parliament. Things roll pretty quickly thereafter, as the minister for transport HAS to reply to parliament in short order.
