Doh ! Just spotted the reference to Me :-(

On your desktop, fire up the internet connection, then from the "Start", "Run" menu, type "winipcfg". This will pop up a little box telling you some stuff about your network connection. If you click on "More Info", you will, amazingly enough for M$, get more info, including the DNS servers that your ISP has set (you may need to click on the box with "..." to scroll through them. Note these down.

Now go to the "Control Panel", "TCP/IP", "DNS Configuration" and dial the numbers in to the appropriate box. You *SHOULD* be able to get away without having to fill in any of the other boxes (but all bets are off with M$ networking so no gurantees :-( )

You will need to reboot for the changes to take effect, of course, and see if that gets you going. If it does, and if your're lucky, you might not even have to change those settings, until one day things mysteriously stop working, and you discover that your ISP has changed them, at which point you have to go through the whole process again :-)

HTH,

DS
