The software in on the SD card. I am told that so is some of the Road Angel software, which means that will not work if you change the card over. I have not yet had an opportunity to play around with the unit to see if this is all correct and if there is a workround or not. I am surprised that the unit can be "locked" and I have managed to copy filies to the SD card; I just cannot install a program from the PC based software.
