Despair!!!!!
Have LAN networked desktop (Master) to laptop (Slave). They seem to communicate as Hotmail Messenger functions normally on both machines.
My dilemna is that I CAN Internet Explore on the desktop but CANNOT on the laptop.
I feel I am close to a solution as after clicking for a search on the laptop the lower howgozit box shows
1. Finding Site.........
2. Opening Page.........
3. Done
Along side the Beam Bar moves continuously.
The end result is 'The page cannot be displayed' standard error page. Having tried all the help advice on that page, I still have no joy just a repeat of the above.
My aim of course is to BT Broadband parrallel surf simultanesouly, hopefully with no speed degridation.
Can any of you whizz kids give advice please.
