I am not sure if there is any union at ACL.
It's very true that so far the employees have always been very well treated by the management and they have had very good terms and conditions.
The maintenance is very good as well. As a consequence of all of that, ACL have always been inonded by CVs and most of new FOs and Captains joined the board with a remarkable previous experience on type.
Now with the current economic climat, they are thinking of cutting some costs. The managers are aware of the current job market which is a good weapon for putting the employees under pressure in order to accept new "deals"... but the company also bears in mind that when the job market will get better then it will be hard (or impossible) to keep the staff in, willing to fly a second hand cargo turboprop at night for peanuts. So that's a challenging and interesting situation.
Nothing firmly decided yet.
Wait and see.
