Jersey is not really gaining the Luton it is only replaceing the dropped Easyjet flights, Easyjet operated the route with the B737 700srs operateing seven days a week the Flybe will be a Dash Q 400 and not every day of the week from what I understand?
So on that basis more seats lost on the Luton service.
So an ATR72 on the Stansted with 66 seats and a Q 400 on the Luton with 72 seats make 138 seats to north London that still leaves a few seats short on what an Easyjet B737 700srs was offering.
Time will tell when the summer schedules get published then people can see on how the summer will start to look.
There could well be the odd airline that might not make the middle of the summer in the present climate??
