However, you have to bear in mind that when it is coupled with the AT, the undetected errorneous information creates a more severe hazard.
In a normal approach environment the throttles going to flight idle APPARENTLY uncommanded should be sufficient notification in itself. Never mind disappearing flight directors, nose up attitude, speed tape arrows, unuusual ROD and sensory perception et al.

You can have all the information you want but if there is no-one taking it in, it is pointless.
