Save the above as a .reg file and doubleclick on it in Explorer.
Remember to include the REGEDIT4
I found this easier than installing the Google Toolbar and less crowding. See
http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html#default for a few more tips.
Another dodge is to add the Google URL to the C
Windows\Favourites\Links folder. Prefix this with full pathname of your IE file to get it to open in a new window.
