Narrative: DAL122, Boeing 757-200, enroute from New York (KJFK) to Shannon (EINN), at 06:51Z, 55N046W, declared an emergency due to smoke in the cockpit and requested to divert to Gander (CYQX). The aircraft descended from 39,000 ft. to 9,500 ft and proceeded direct to Gander. At 07:04Z, the aircraft requested all available Emergency Services for arrival at Gander. At 07:32Z, aircraft advised that the situation had stabilized. The aircraft landed safely in Gander at 08:04Z.
