Thanks everyone, have so many conflicting views on the place!
the reason i thought it might be best is that its:
A) Closest (I live in south cumbria about 10 min from the M6) and I used to do the trip back and forth from Leeds which takes about 1h45.
B) It does more than the PPL which is what the ones in carlise only offer.
But then again I dont know much about flight schools, what things are you meant too look out for when you visit one? Sorry if I sound stupid
